Galaxy Formation and Evolution Group
The main research interests of the Galaxy Formation and Evolution Group lie in the study of the physical processes leading to the formation and evolution of galaxies and galaxy systems, the influence of the environment on the properties of galaxies, the gravitational clustering of dark matter and baryons, and their cosmological implications. The group is part of the Departament d'Astronomia i Meteorologia at the Facultat de Física of the Universitat de Barcelona. Look in these addresses to find general information. The research carried out by our group is supported by the Dirección General de Investigación del Ministerio de Educación y Ciencia of Spain, under different grants.
